Monthly goal:  Begin building mileage and endurance for fall marathons, Top of Utah & St. George.

All Saturday Runs Start At 6:00 a.m.

August 9th:      LocoMotion 20th Anniversary Reunion Summer Picnic, afternoon/evening, The Spruces, Big Cottonwood Canyon.
 

Sat., July 5th – Farmington, 15 miles.  Meet at Smith’s Food & Drug, 1316 N Highway 89, Farmington.  Directions: From Salt Lake, I-15 northbound. Take the exit that is right in front of Lagoon. Continue on the collector and exit at the 2nd right.  This will be the same route we ran in June only we’ll add a two mile extension at the beginning of the run by heading south on Main St. for a one mile out and back and then continue the route as before.

Sat., July 12th – Emigration Canyon, 16 miles.   Meet at Ruth’s Diner.  We’ll run to the top of Little Mountain, down the back side to Highway 65, head east (turn left) and run to mile marker 5, turn around and head back.  Bagels afterwards at Einstein’s, 1500 E 1500 S.

Sat., July 19th – Wasatch Blvd./Parley’s Crossing, 13 -14 miles.  Meet at the Park ‘n Ride lot at 3900 South just below Wasatch Blvd.  We’ll head north on Wasatch to the Parley’s Crossing trail and continue north via Wasatch Drive to “This is the Place Park” entrance and return.

Sat., July 26th – Draper, 17 miles.  Meet at Draper Park, 1300 East 12400 South.  This will be the same route we ran in May, but we’ll subtract the last loop off the trail.  Bagels afterwards at 1297 East Draper Parkway.
